Why Play World of Warcraft

If you still haven’t played World of Warcraft (also known as WoW), then you are missing out on one of the best MMORPGs of all time. WoW has millions of active subscribers and one of the most fun to play online games out there. There may be plenty of MMORPGs out there but here are some of the reasons why you should start playing WoW and how it is different from other MMORPGs.
The content is one of the reasons why you should start playing World of Warcraft. WoW currently has three expansions and a fourth expansion coming up in 2012. Each new expansion brings new quests, characters, dungeons, raids, and more lore to a game that is already rich in quests, characters, dungeons, raids, and lore. For example, the first expansion, “The Burning Crusade” added two new playable races (the Draenei and Blood Elves) and a new planet (Outland). The second expansion, “Wrath of the Lich King” added a new hero class (Death Knight) and a new continent (Northrend). Unlike other MMORPGs, you won’t get bored with WoW because new content are always being added and the new content is always huge and awesome. In WoW, there is always something to look forward to, such as a new class or race to play or a new location to explore.

Reason 2: Player Vs Environment (PvE)

Almost all MMORPGs these days have some form of Player Vs Environment opportunity in them. However, most MMORPGs don’t really make PvE fun or necessary. In WoW, Player Vs Environment is fun and really makes you want to play with other players. WoW features dungeons that a single player cannot conquer alone. If you want to survive these dungeons and get the treasures within, you will have to group with other players. Unlike the dungeons from other MMORPGs, the dungeons in World of Warcraft are very fun to play and they are fun to explore because each of them is unique. Also, you will need teamwork to defeat the bosses inside these dungeons.

Reason 3: Free Trial

If you’re not convinced about the first two reasons mentioned above, then you can just sign up, download the WoW Starter Edition, and play the game for free until your character reaches level 20. Unlike other MMORPGs that only allow you to play for 15 to 30 days for free, you can play WoW until you reach level 20 and see how awesome it is before you subscribe.
